Origin: Originally from China the Romans knew it as malum persicum, the Persian apple, it spread rapidly throughout the Mediterranean before being introduced to the Americas by the Portuguese and Spanish.
Appearance: Peaches with a distinctive golden yellow color occasionally exhibiting a reddish orange sheen and enticing orange colored flesh
Taste: A fragrant fruit with firm and juicy flesh with a rounded flavor balanced between sweet and subtly refreshing.
Harvest: From the beginning of June to the end of July.
